Driving directions

Directions from Denver area to Vail via I70 WEST.  VAIL VILLAGE includes multiple PEDESTRIAN ONLY streets so sometimes google directions are off a bit. Here are the driving directions to Vorlaufer, just (121) miles from Denver International Airport. Take EXIT 176 toward Town Center/Vail. At the traffic circle, take the 4th exit onto Vail Rd At the traffic circle, take the 3rd exit onto S Frontage Rd E Continue straight to stay on S Frontage Rd E 0.2 mi to Vail Valley Drive Take a slight right toward Vail Valley Dr 187 ft Follow Vail Valley Drive to Hanson Ranch Rd Turn right onto Hanson Ranch Rd 0.1 mi Turn right onto Hanson Ranch Chute 112 ft Turn right onto Gore Creek Dr, your parking space will be on your left. If you make it to the stop sign, you've gone too far. *SO, best scenario is to drop off your luggage at the stairs here. Have someone hop out of the car and undo the chain on parking spot 18, which is actually on Vail Valley Drive.  ** Then loop around and easily park in your spot!  Park in your designated space (which is to the left of the numbered space)  NOTE: there is one parking spot designated for this residence. You'll just need to remove the chain at your parking space. The middle of the chain is where you'll find the link to undo it.  ENTERING THE RESIDENCE: Vorlaufer 201 is on the far side of the 2nd floor. You'll enter the stairway closest to your parking space, just past the bike racks! Head up the stairs where will you find the condo on your right.  TRICKY KEY! Turn keys ONLY to the left, otherwise you will engage the deadbolt. The door handle will not turn significantly as you might expect. Just turn the key as far to the left until it clicks and then pull door. If you THE DOOR WILL LOCK behind you when you leave the residence so always leave a key or two in the lock box.
